These electromagnets are used for lifting billets, steel ingots, and large blooms. They can also be used for lifting round billets and steel sections. Depending on the type of steel and working conditions, different magnetic circuit designs are employed, forming three series. Considering cost and conditions like crane weight, the MW22 series is preferred when feasible, followed by MW32 and MW42.
